like it's always been and will always be, my best friend.
we watched our family stretch long and thin, and at the end, one christmas eve when we were kids.
i didn't know what to believe, still i find it hard,
i never want to let you down.

but people change, is that what you were told
well it takes a courage to influence change, one i don't think i hold,
but i am still a young man and i know i would not be here without
the courage of a special few

so let the memories tare, i never could and what does that mean?
